What can I do for your birth?
I hope I can meet you and fully understand the visual you have for your birth. I hope to come along side you when you dive into a sacred dance of labor.
My birth service is simple. We both sit down and have a relaxing chat about your birth desires and how you picture me fitting into that plan. I get to know you and your desires when it comes to labor. You get to enjoy your birth "unfold" as I SLOW DOWN the process and explain what is happening so you can be in-charge of you and your babys' health. Once we decide if I will be beneficial to your birth, I will send an intake form and a customized contract to fit your needs.
I’m a trained and certified birth doula, and also a mom of six who believes every birth should feel safe, supported, and truly your own. My style is calm, caring, and down-to-earth—think of me as a steady friend by your side as you bring your baby into the world.
I’m here to listen, encourage, and help you feel confident in your choices. I’ll share helpful information, offer a gentle touch, and hold space for you and your family so you can experience birth with peace and trust. Whether you dream of a quiet, natural labor or just want to know your options, I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment.
Birth Service~ I will provide two 90min prenatal visits before labor to discuss birth plan, postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding if planning, birthing positions, some childbirth education**, evidence-based care and research. 24/7 contact through email, text, call. One 90min postpartum visit to debrief your labor and birthing experience and a whole arrange of topics that mother has on her heart.
Service Charge ~$1600
I support the community of Monroe County. If you are delivering at the Promedica Monroe Hospital I offer a discount of half my service charge.
**Childbirth Education is to fill in any missing education provided by classes of your choice through other programs so mother has full range of her choices.
